We used Paradise Pools and Spas NJ to install our pool. We could not be more pleased with the outcome. Not only has the pool become a gathering place for our family and friends, which was the primary reason for building the pool, it is a continuing source of personal joy and good health for my wife and myself.
When we contracted to build the pool, I was living and working in St. Louis and my wife was working every day as well. That meant we needed a company to handle the
installation A-Z. Following is a brief description of the services we received from Paradise:
- We received a comprehensive and professionally prepared proposal including ALL costs. There were absolutely no hidden fees. Other proposals did not include all the details, and when questioned the other bidders they told us that what Paradise proposed were “add-on” costs.
- Only the highest quality equipment and service was proposed. But, their bid was highly competitive.
- Once we selected Paradise, we met with company principals twice…once to review our specific expectations, including liner colors, steps and ladder locations and once to review the final plans.
- The “plans” were a professionally prepared set of drawings to scale detailing the pool size and shape, all underground piping, a topographical layout of the property, grading requirements and the placement of the equipment.
- Paradise used the agreed upon drawings to submit to the township and handled all the permits and inspections. We had no involvement in the complicated process.
- Paradise personally met with our neighbors to let them know what we were doing and to allay any concerns they might have.
- Since the equipment was to be enclosed in a shed, Paradise handled all the coordination with the shed delivery, placement and hook-ups. The shed had to be modified to accommodate the equipment, which was completed by Paradise at no cost to me aside from materials needed.
- Paradise also coordinated with the paving company, as we had paver decks installed.
- The concrete pad surround for the pool was specially reinforced and two years later there is not a single concrete crack. Paradise also had delivered colored concrete to match the pavers at no cost to me.
- The pool installation proceeded very professionally without any problems or concerns.
- At the conclusion of the project, we were presented with a 4” loose-leaf binder that contained tabbed sections for the construction drawings, all permits and inspection approvals, warranty information, the location of all the underground utility work, and detailed instruction booklets on the care and maintenance of every aspect of the pool and all equipment. The binder is the “bible” we use for maintenance and for reference for other work that has been performed on our home.
- We get regular telephone communications from Paradise about our experience with the pool, and open and close the pool each year.
- Unlike other pool companies, Paradise has a large and beautiful showroom fully stocked with every possible need for the pool, including every imaginable pool supply and even inflatable’s to enhance the enjoyment of the pool.
In our view, Paradise epitomizes every quality of highly professional, customer oriented pool contractor. To say that we were delighted with the services provided by Paradise would be an understatement. Every aspect of the pool installation was accomplished without “drama”, on time and precisely within the bid. Paradise did even more than I have described, almost to an unbelievable degree, but I do not want to make this attribution a book.
Obviously, we would highly recommend Paradise to any potential pool buyer, but more than just such a recommendation, we would comment that Paradise is the kind of pool company that cares personally about its customers. That is evident in the attention to detail, high quality work performance, and continuing follow-up about the pool and all of our needs.
Paradise is quite simply a great company with great people and they not only say what they are going to do, but actually do what they say…a quality not found among too many other contractors.

When my wife and I decided to put in a pool we were faced with several options. In talking with our friends who have pools we heard various responses from great recommendations, to complete horror stories. One friend in particular told us about Paradise Pools. He had used them to replace a liner in the pool at his previous home. He was so satisfied with them that he planned to use them to install a pool in his current house. Our experience with Paradise could not have been better. They came to our home, helped us choose which pool was right for our backyard, and guided us to the best location to place the pool. Before they began to dig, the intended location of the pool was clearly marked out and explained thoroughly. There were no hidden costs, and their prices were extremely competitive. They recommended an outstanding Masonry man and landscaper to finish off the area around the pool, as well as our patio. They did an amazing job. We also purchased a Dynasty Spa/Jacuzzi from Paradise Pool, and this has been fantastic. Their spa prices were great, and we have used our spa with great satisfaction. Our backyard really is our “paradise” at home.
Most importantly, the owners and employees of Paradise Pools have been knowledgeable, skillful, and professional. They return calls promptly, come when we ask them to, and answer all our questions. The service has been terrific. I can honestly say dealing with Paradise Pools was a stress free process. My wife and I would recommend Paradise Pools
